The Marantz SR5005 AV Receiver provides 7x 100W rms, has decoders for standard as well as Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio, and comes with four HDMI 1.4a inputs – making it immediately ready for 3D video. It easily handles the most demanding of scenes in action films, as well as offering excellent-quality music playback, thanks to the advanced Marantz audio technologies. 

To ensure you get the best possible audio from compressed files on iPod via USB, the SR5005 incorporates the M-DAX2 – Marantz Dynamic Expander version2. This neat little addition also optimises the quality of MP3 files from either CD or the optional Bluetooth receiver RX101. Everything sounds clearer, more detailed, and more alive. 

To finish off, the SR5005 comes with a whole host of convenience features such as “auto set-up” with Audyssey MultiEQ and Dynamic Volume, multiroom with multi-source flexibility, and “video-off” mode to ensure you enjoy your movies and music in true dynamic Marantz style. What’s more all analogue and HDMI video sources can be up-scaled to 1080p via the Anchor Bay ABT1030 processor.
