The Wharfedale Diamond 10.SX is a compact Subwoofer which features a 100 watt amplifier, a 7.8" (200mm) custom designed bass driver and both high and low level inputs. Available in a Walnut colour finishes, the 10.SX is perfect for small to medium sized cinema systems.

The SX-Sub is a really good sub for the price. The in-house built 8" driver is quick and punchy, yet subtle enough to deliver even obscured detail. The 100W built-in amplifier and good sensitivity allow the SX-Sub to deliver deep extension and taut bass without bottoming out or getting flubby. Cabinetry, like the rest of the Diamond series is well-braced and sturdy. The SX-Sub is also unobtrusive, measuring just under a cubic foot. The most interesting feature of this subwoofer is the crossover; the SX-Sub uses a 6 point crossover, starting at 35Hz with increases in 10Hz increments all the way to 85Hz. Traditional subwoofer crossover designs use an infinitely variable knob which makes precision impossible and good results unrepeatable. Thanks to its superior crossover, the SX-Sub makes precise and repeatable selection of an exact crossover point easy, which ensures excellent blending with virtually any speaker. This is an impressively thoughtful touch on a supremely affordable subwoofer.
